Vegas Montana — real name Towa Talom Didier, born May 18, 1995, in Douala, Cameroon — is a Cameroonian-born singer blending Afrobeat, R&B, amapiano, reggae, and Latin rhythms into infectious Afro-fusion. The fourth of eight children, he began honing his voice in choirs such as Coeur d’Ange and the Archangel Choir before stepping onto bigger stages, including The Voice USA, Buea Got Talent, and the DJ Khaled Music Competition.
His catalog includes the soulful R&B/Afro single ‘Montrè,’ the high-energy ‘Natty Dread’ (reggae, Latin, and Afrobeat), the Afro-fusion banger ‘Mamamia,’ the smooth ‘Areacode,’ ‘OLE,’ ‘Funy-kate,’ ‘MAMA,’ ‘Best Friend,’ and ‘Ayo-yo,’ plus the 8-track album ‘Memories’ (November 2024). His anthem ‘Laissez-nous passer’ calls for unity, peace, and dialogue between Cameroon’s Anglophone and Francophone regions. His music is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube (1.44K subscribers, 47K+ views, Official Artist Channel since 2018).
Beyond music, Vegas Montana is the founder of the humanitarian organization Called Feed Cameroon, dedicated to supporting struggling families back home — a reflection of his ongoing commitment to giving back to his community.
