Hamariah Grace Foundation (formerly Hadassah Grace Foundation) is a 501(c) nonprofit organization whose vision is to assist vulnerable populations. The foundation is committed to empowering underserved women and children by investing in meaningful social change — supporting their nutrition, health, and overall well-being, and giving them the foundation to thrive and succeed.
HAMARIAH stands for one cause: impact. Its vision is to create a world where every woman and child has access to the resources, dignity, and opportunities they deserve. Led by CEO Chantale Teta, the foundation runs nutrition, shelter, clothing, education, healthcare, personal development, and sponsorship programs for orphans, widows, street children, and impoverished communities in the United States and around the world. Each year it hosts ‘Hamariah Night’ (formerly Hadassah Night), a Mother’s Day gala dinner in Maryland that honors mothers and raises funds to expand its programs.
Who they serve
The foundation serves children and adolescents, elderly adults, low-income individuals, individuals with disabilities, homeless individuals, minority and marginalized groups, immigrants and refugees, victims of abuse or domestic violence, and individuals living with chronic illness or mental health conditions.
